Good chocolate pecans.

Dandelions look great in this old
garden.
Did I say NO to this candy store?

I started out looking around Butte, great buildings but not much happening. Anaconda was next and that wasn't a very special place. All the towns have some great old buildings, many are in need of a lot of repair. Philipsburg seems to be a town working on a comeback and it had a great feel too the place. There is a large lake on the way into town that had just thawed last week. It is a very windy day.
I am listening to a book on tape in the car, James Patterson. Pop goes the Weasel, murder doesn't really fit the scenery but i am hooked on the story.
I am in Missoula now. Holiday Inn by the river. I was getting too tired of driving this afternoon. Old Town is just up the street and there is a river trail at the back. Time to finish this and then have a cup of tea.

  2. The scenery is beautiful. Can't believe it's being tied into a book on tape murder mystery.

Can hardly wait to see what shenanigans you'll get into once you meet up w/Rachel! Thanks Rachel for the tips on how to comment!

  3. When Rachel goes up to Canada to meet Deana, I'll know to check the CNN Headlines regularly instead of this blog!

Those Canadians have no idea what is in store for them, eh?
