Canada

Our heroine is worn out from driving, hiking, and northern allergies. She's in Cardston, Alberta.

Since the road through Glacier N.P. was closed, she drove as far along it as she could. It's a lovely drive, named "Going to the Sun". She looked at the scenery at Lake McLeod, saw a black bear (thinks she got a photo), did a hike to John's Lake, and then drove out of the park and in again at the east entrance, St. Mary's. More hiking at Logan's Pass, then she decided to get to Canada.

She says all the views are incredible and she's taken many photos. Dining options are not so incredible, including the service.

Tomorrow will be a quiet day, although golf courses are tempting.
