This morning I have been walking around the village and down to the river and gravel pits. Everywhere is quite overgrown and not open like it was sixty years ago when we were kids we were free to wander everywhere including in the river. It still looks very nice and as kids we probably didnt appreciate how pretty everywhere is.

The old windmill now converted to a home.

Crab apples in Davids garden

At the allotments.

This used to be Auntie Edna and Uncle Fred's house.

Our family lived here for many years.

I was born upstairs in this house.

They still have potholes in this road. I have scars on my knee's from when I was young.

  1. Wish I were walking around with you. Looks the same, but bet it's changing a lot.

  2. That's fun to see those sites again. I wish I could've worked it out on my trip.
